Corrine Kliment, MD, PhD

Corrine Kliment, MD, PhD, ATSF is an Associate Professor at University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine in the Division of Pulmonary, Allergy, Critical Care and Sleep Medicine. She is a physician scientist with a basic and translational laboratory investigating the intersection between mitochondria, cellular senescence and lung repair in lung diseases including COPD and pulmonary fibrosis. Her laboratory utilizes human translational models including alveolar organoids and precision cut lung slice for physiological and therapeutic testing. She is also an associate program director for the Pulmonary and Critical Care Fellowship and the University of Pittsburgh MSTP (MD/PhD) Program.
